Thanks to a comment on the credits music video, I have become aware that I don't even know if that song is in the game. I could have sworn it was, but I'm not hearing it in any of the end-of-the-game videos, whether linked or unlinked. I even pulled out my own copy and checked the linked ending, and all I heard were Ending Themes 1 and 2. So is Credits just one of those tracks that was never in the game, like Trouble on the Raft? Does anybody know why these tracks are floating around? Different versions of the game, or just extra music?

I just finished a playthrough of the game.
"Credits & Staff Roll" plays when Ambi and her soldiers arrive at the black tower to help. "Ending Theme 1" is the credits. What the hell. I might just rename them to make it less confusing. I want to know where these track names even came from.
So anyway, Credits is back on the important list. As "Veran Defeated."

Ok, I'm claiming Veran Defeated aka Not Credits & Staff Roll. Planning some celebrationy orchestral stuff.
The three remaining tracks (more like two) are still open, but the project will go on without them if it must. I tried some stuff with Maku Tree, it sounded cool, and then I realized I had no ideas for the rest of the source, which sounded...really difficult to remix. Anyway, even though it is sort of a main character's theme, I don't think people would miss it.
(Of course, I'm not taking it off the list. If you want to take a shot at it, knock yourself out.)

Unfortunately, it looks like Willrock won't be covering Skull Dungeon, due to an inspiration shortage. It's up to Chickenwarlord and me now. We're going to try back-and-forth arranging in MIDI this time to make sure it's all unified and awesome.
(It will be awesome. We'll make sure of that.)

So, I don't know if anyone wants to do Just Another Mad Dash or not, but I think I figured it out by ear and have the midi of it on piano.

Ha...that's interesting. I just realized that vgmusic doesn't have that song, even under Link's Awakening. Well, unless you're planning on claiming the track, you can post it and we'll see if anyone wants to take a shot at it!

Hey guys, I finally got in touch with illidari. He isn't going to be finishing Ralph's Theme. Nase is going to give it a shot.

The WIP deadline has passed. (Happy new decade!)
Trouble on the Raft is open again. To claim it you'll need to send me a minute-long WIP.
I won't be too upset if it doesn't end up on the project. Pretty sure it wasn't in the game. But I guess it must've been on the cartridge, because it's always in soundtrack collections. Anyway, it sounds pretty Oraclesy, and I like it, so that's why it's on the list. Whatever. It's not really important, but I'm not going to turn down remixes of it.
Also, after watching the disastrous Spirit Tracks youtube soundtrack-naming (one idiot decides the on-foot overworld theme should be called "In Town" and everyone follows suit), I think we'll be changing some of the unclear made-up source titles on the final site. Like correctly labeling the actual credits theme. There's no rule saying we have to stick to the arbitrary titles assigned by the first person to rip the music.
(I went back to the accepted titles for a while to make sure remixers didn't get confused between my titles and the youtube videos, but I think accurate titles will be better for the listeners.)

I like this project- why isn't it a Super Turbo HD OCR official project, Lemon? (Sorry if this is the wrong thread and stuff, you don't have a "Random Stuff" thread in this section.)

I've asked both zircon and Liontamer about it before, but I've never gotten a response. Hopefully the new project guidelines will make it clearer. I'm guessing I've been running the project a little too loosely for their tastes, but we'll see.

I'd pester Liontamer. To get anything done I've had to send him at least two PM's. But yeah, I agree, wait untill those crazy new rules come out and then see. I really think that loads of these tracks would make an OCRemix.

Well, we've got official confirmation on the project's unofficial status. The good news is that whether they like it or not, they have to give us a little bit of exposure through Proto's accepted mix. XP And we're still awesome. I'm planning on contacting the people in charge at Zelda Universe and gamemusic4all, and World Zelda Music Radio has already asked me about adding the entire album to their database. They're kind of eager to get some Oracle songs. I told them they'd have to wait until the release. In other news, Ralph's Theme is open again. Nase is kind of interested in the track, but is unable to commit to it right now. I'm leaving it open the same way Trouble on the Raft is open: you can't claim it until you have at least a minute of WIP to show me.

They are a helpful bunch, I`m a frequenter there when I`ve worked on other stuff. Exposure I doubt will be a problem.
